I’ve been coming here for years, and I’ve always had a great experience with Dr. K, Lori, and the entire staff. Dr. K is always kind, patient, and professional, and I feel very comfortable in his care. He takes the time to explain things and makes sure I understand what’s going on instead of making me feel rushed. I really appreciate the care and attention he gives to me and my family. Lori has been my hygienist for many years, and I honestly wouldn’t want anyone else to take care of my teeth. She is always pleasant, kind, and genuinely caring. One thing I really appreciate about Lori is how gentle she is. With some other hygienists i had before, I’ve felt like they use my lower jaw or mouth as a support while cleaning, which can put a lot of pressure on my mouth and feel uncomfortable. Lori is completely different. She has such a light and gentle touch, and my cleanings with her are always comfortable. She is also my son’s hygienist, which makes me even happier. I wish my husband could have Lori as his hygienist too, but unfortunately his schedule doesn’t work with hers. I actually like Lori so much that I will move my appointment around just to schedule it when she is available. That says a lot about how much I trust and appreciate her. She is an excellent hygienist and a wonderful person, and I’m very grateful to have had her taking care of my family’s dental care for so many years. The front office staff are also always super nice, friendly, and courteous. Everyone makes you feel welcome and well taken care of. I’ve had a great experience here over the years and would definitely recommend them!

Dr. Koyanagi is the best!

I love their attention to details and greeting you atlas soon as you go in, it makes you comfortable when you’re already feeling anxious going to the dentist. I got my crown done in one day offered me a payment plan and doctor explained the procedure made me feel at ease. Mahalis everyone

Became a new patient today at the Ala Moana dental office today. I had a crown that cracked last night and I was concerned that it would become painful . they took me in immediately in and I got to see a very professional dentist . they took x-rays and fortunately the crack was on the surface and does not need to be replaced soon. They are very professional and I am glad to have become a patient of this office.

I’ve been going to AlaMoana Dental for just over 20 years and no complaints! Saw Dr. Koyanagi on 10/3 because an implanted tooth came unscrewed. She took care of it right away and I was in and out in less than 1/2 hour. She’s always been great including her very pleasant personality! Her assistant was Angelica (🤞her name I believe) and she was the best too! And thanks also to the efficient and cheerful receptionists. So 5 stars to all, Mahalo!

I had a dental emergency and was able to be seen right away. Dr Ryan was very compassionate & caring and explained everything to me. The charge was reasonable and I was given an itemized invoice with codes & xray to send to my Insurance. Mahalo

had such an amazing experience with Dr. Brett Mandich! From the moment I met him, he made me feel completely comfortable and at ease. He was extremely friendly, welcoming, professional, and took the time to make sure I felt comfortable throughout my visit. Going to the dentist can definitely be nerve-racking, but Dr. Mandich made the entire experience so much easier. You can tell he genuinely cares about his patients, and that really stood out to me. I’m so glad I found him and can confidently say Dr. Mandich will be my new dentist going forward. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a dentist who is skilled, kind, and truly makes you feel comfortable. 10/10 experience!

Alison Huh is phenomenal. She is careful, kind, knowledgable, professional and great to have as my dentist. She also serves the rest of my family. We know we are always in good hands with Dr. Huh.

Great location! Walking distance if you live in the Ala Moana area/close to bus stop if you want to take the bus and not worry about traffic or parking. Very Friendly staff; check in was prompt. Office was clean and decorated lovely//up to date. Xrays and cleaning were both pleasant experiences. High tech equipment!

This place was amazing! I am from Canada and woke up with a very painful tooth ache. The staff was top notch and extremely friendly and helpful! They took me off the street and had me in a chair within 10 minutes. From there I had X-rays and was prescribed meds. I was back to my vacation before 10am, incredible! The price for a walk in at 7am to treatment and a solution was awesome! Highly recommend if you are on the brink of losing your holiday!
